Senior General Accountant - Spanish Market
An international company active in the pharmaceutical field and based in Switzerland is looking for a Senior Accountant for the Spanish market.
In this function you act as a back-up for the Accounting Team Leader in the Shared Service Center (SSC). Your main tasks are:
•controlling that the general ledger processes are compliant with the corporate and legal policies
•monthly, quarterly and yearly end closing activities according to US GAAP and local statutory obligations
•completing legal reports (including VAT and income tax)
•participating in various financial projects
•supporting the finance manager in monthly reports, forecasts and budgets
Your profile:
Holder of a further education in accounting you have a few years of experience in finance in an international environment. As you will be in charge of Spain you should speak Spanish and English fluently. Moreover knowledge of US Gaap and local Spanish statutories are an asset.
Your personality:
You are flexible and open minded, with excellent communication skills that enable you to work effectively with all management levels. As a motivated and proactive person you like to take the initiative. Finally, you are able to work independently and are willing to enter a fast-paced multinational company.
