German and French speaking TRANSPORT & EXPORT SPECIALIST

This position is primarily responsible for coordinating export orders by sea and air, ensuring that all proper documentation is developed and accompanying shipments, and tracking and resolving any transport and export issues.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Total management of the organizations forwarding of product for the export market which includes all air and ocean traffic as well as the inbound tracking and tracing of freight.
• Preparing all documentation required in support of export movement (i.e. letters of credit, pro-forma invoices, ATA carnet…).
• Utilizing ERP system to develop plans to procure and plan inventory from the suppliers as well as the manufacturing facility to support orders ensuring adequate levels of stock.
• Responsible for coordinating all shipments from the distribution locations with the shipping and traffic department to maximize freight savings.
• Establish and maintain lead times, economic order sizes, and stock replenishment points to maximize system utilization and product availability.
• Maintain ERP system master file data integrity (Item Master, Planning Records, DRP/MRP, Purchase Orders, etc.).
• Liaison between overseas offices on order confirmations, shipping details and product availability issues.
YOUR PROFILE:
• Minimum of 5 years Export experience
• Expert knowledge of export and transportation documents
• Fluent in German, French and ideally English (spoken and written)
• Excellent MS Office skills, ERP knowledge preferred (i.e. SAP or Oracle)
• Organized, multitasking and the ability to successfully handle large volume of work and stressful situations
