Photovoltaic (Cells) Technical Product Specialist - Neuchâtel Area - Switzerland
Our client is a leading international company active in the photovoltaic market. Their units are integrated into industrial production lines for solar panels.
The main tasks
You will identify the business markets for the allocated product portfolio, establish business plans and be responsible for the product-life-cycle management. The market requirement documents and use cases you establish will be the basis for new product developments that you will follow through to their completion. You will approve and follow engineering change requests and provide market, industry and competitive analysis. In order to maintain the profitability of the portfolio you will coordinate the pricing strategy and keep price lists up to date.
Training of field sales teams, providing them will sales collateral, and promoting the product in collaboration with the Marketing and Communication team will be key to the success of your portfolio.
Your background
You have a Bachelor’s degree with work experience in the industrial product management. Experience in the field of PV / a cell is a definite advantage. To plan and take decisions, write clear market-driven product requirements are part of your strengths. You are a reliable and resilient person with proven interpersonal skills and are open to travelling up to 50% of your time around the world. You have very good English skills and ideally are able to speak French and/or German.
