Approach People is recruiting for one of his clients, major IT company a Finance manager German/English bilingual:
Major Essential Functions:
• Oversee monthly reporting package preparation including review with Cluster FD and Commercial lead, acting in accordance with their input as required and ensure timely submission
• Provide comptrollership functions in order to ensure finances are managed according to legislation, policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles
• Weekly update with Cluster FD in relation to country issues/matters requiring cluster input
• Managing the data capture and reporting of business unit activities for all accounting aspects and needs
• Review & Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary
• Regular cash flow management and oversee weekly reporting. Manage balance sheet inventory, payables and receivables to achieve monthly/quarterly targets
• Provide guidance and advice to sales, product marketing and network services teams in support of business development and sale activities with overall objective of delivery of annual financial target metrics
• Be a regular liaison with his/hers business counterparts
• Provision of forward projections, full year forecasting and scenario analysis
• Access and interpretation of external information sources (could be market analysis and commentary)
• Ensure prober and efficient cost and business controlling to reduce complicity and costs.
• Manage internal audit as well of external audit requirements including fee negotiation and disposition of any accounting treatment requirements
• Ensure compliance with all domestic and international taxation requirements and management of the company’s taxation exposure in all areas of tax (including but not limited to income tax, VAT, Payroll Tax, transfer pricing considerations, state taxes and duties etc.)
Relationship, Leadership and Team Building Requirements
• Manage escalated ad-hoc complaints and ad-hoc complex inquiries
• Hold professional relationships with all the relevant interlocutors
Qualification Requirements:
Education : Relevant (Accounting/Finance) degree qualification
License/Certificate: Chartered/Certified Practicing Accountant or relevant experience
Competencies Ability to command confidence and respect in others, together with a firm but diplomatic demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self directed individual with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and adapts readily and easily to changes in priorities and business conditions.
Overall strategic and business orientation approach – Commercial and Logistics insight preferred
Business skills – must be able to understand the business to challenge the MD and Management team
German Speaker with fluent English skills (Italian language a plus)
