The Role

Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced reporter to cover business and economic news in Zurich. The successful candidate, who'll join Bloomberg's Western Europe speed desk, will be able to break news on everything ranging from corporate news to wider political and economic stories, mainly reporting out of Switerzerland. He or she will also cooperate with the news team in Geneva. The position will involve travel mainly in the region.

Requirements:

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is desirable, as is a journalism qualification.
- Financial-journalism experience is required.
- Experience of working in a real-time news environment is desirable.
- Fluency in English and German is essential plus ideally French.
