Suitable candidates must be fluent in German and English with eligibility to work in Europe or Switzerland.
This is an excellent Permanent Opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in the Swiss Branch of a reputable global consultancy.
Main Tasks:
End to end BI/DWH application development across multiple projects in an Enterprise Warehouse environment.
Profile:
- Solid understanding of BI/DWH project lifecycle and solution architecture
- Experience in defining solution architecture standards and best practices in BI/DWH environments
- Extensive requirements analysis, source system analysis and data analysis experience in DWH projects
- Data modelling experience
- ETL and reporting architecture definition and design experience
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- 8+ years of experience in DWH projects
- Insurance sector experience preferred
- Experienced working in onsite offshore model preferred
- Excellent communication skills required
Responsibilities:
1. Define architecture standards and best practices
2. Define solution road map and approach
3. Conduct requirements analysis and data analysis
4. Do data modelling based on industry model standards and prepare source to target data mapping
5. Preparation and review of ETL architecture and high level design
6. Guide a team of technical leads, designers and developers who will participate in design and analysis activities
7. Review code and specs prepared by team
8. Support development, testing and deployment activities from architect standpoint
