Process responsibilities
• Accurately perform process specific tasks as requested by process Manager / Senior Accountant, which may include depending on specific team:
• Process related documentation processing
• Resolving invoice discrepancies
• Journal Entries (Booking, posting, review)
• Updating organizational databases (e.g. vendor, customer)
• Queries resolution
• General Ledger Activities (e.g. accruals, reconciliations)
• Supporting the Senior General Accountant in the closings activities for affiliates (Month - Quarter - Year end) according the company policies and the local statutory policies
• Perform the closing activities for affiliates (Month - Quarter - Year end) according the company policies and the local statutory policies
• Local Tax and non corporate reporting activities (e.g. VAT returns, Income tax, National Bank reports)
• Bank Statement Allocation
Customer service responsibilities
• Maintain good working relationships with the respective process team and other SSC teams where required
• Support the respective process owner in achieving the process objectives
• Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures
Back up for other team members
Collaboration in various finance projects
Education required
Minimum:
Bachelor (BSc) (extramural students are welcome) (background in economics is an asset)
Experience
1-4 years of practical experience in General accounting in a Legal Entity
Salary: depending on experience!

Skills required
Excellent language skills in ONE of those languages: ITALIAN or SPANISH or FRENCH or ENGLISH or POLISH (There is a position open for each one of the languages, tacking care of the Accounts Payable for the country where they speak this language, 5 positions open)
Educational background in accounting/economics is an asset
University degree (extramural students are welcome)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Professional approach to work
Good analytical skills and attention to details
Knowledge of accounting systems is an asset
Good practical knowledge of MS Office tools
